At Reforest Nation, our mission is to maximise the environmental impact of every contribution. The cost to plant a single tree in Ireland typically ranges from €30 to €150. By pooling these resources, we leverage each contribution to plant up to 10x to 50x more trees than other Irish groups.

Our saplings thrive across fourteen counties in Ireland and in the vital ecosystems of Madagascar. In Ireland, they grow under the stewardship of nature reserves, community projects, and dedicated landowners, making each tree planted a deeply sustainable gift. Abroad, we collaborate with Eden Reforestation Projects to help restore mangroves and other critical habitats. Each of our carefully selected saplings is a two-year-old, Irish-grown specimen, ranging from 50 cm to over 2 meters in height. Our use of a naturalistic planting method dramatically speeds up forest development, making our process ten times faster than standard methods and increasing carbon absorption and biodiversity by up to 100 times.

An average tree in our care is estimated to sequester about 250kg of CO2 over its lifetime.
