RestorE Nature 🦋 Nurture Ecosystems
At Reforest Nation, we are dedicated to restoring diverse ecosystems and fostering biodiversity. Our projects encompass a variety of initiatives, including planting forests across Ireland, supporting mangrove restoration in Madagascar for their exceptional carbon-absorbing capabilities, and distributing seed balls in Kenya to enhance native forest cover.
We’ve established Europe’s largest Miyawaki-inspired forest in Wicklow and collaborate with local projects to remove invasive species from our existing precious woodlands. Our efforts also include creating urban forest spaces in cities and establishing wildlife hedgerows, which are essential for connecting habitats and supporting our native wildlife. Additionally, we support the WRI Wildlife Hospital in rehabilitating native Irish wildlife, ensuring the health and recovery of local species.
Our holistic approach revitalises ecosystems, benefiting both nature and communities.
